Referscope ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our analytics service.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Referscope to track website visitors, we collect:

• Referrer URL (where visitors came from)
• Page path (which page they visited)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Browser and operating system (for example Safari on iOS), read from the user agent at the moment of the visit
• Approximate country and city, from network location (never a street, postcode or coordinates)
• Timestamp of visit
• UTM parameters (if present in URL)

What we DON'T collect: We do not collect personal information such as names or email addresses, and we do not use cookies. An IP address is read only for the moment of the visit: it gives the approximate location and feeds a daily one-way hash (keyed with a secret and reset every day, so it cannot be turned back into the IP or linked across days). The IP is never stored, and neither is the raw user agent.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud Platform). All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS.

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We use two subprocessors: Google (Firebase) for data storage, and Cloudflare, through which visits pass on their way to us. Cloudflare runs our collection Worker, which reads the approximate location and the user agent in memory to derive country, city, device, browser and operating system, and stores nothing. Cloudflare also hosts our analytics event store.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
